Healthy Me

What does it mean to pursue wellness? What does it take to be a "healthy me"? How can TWC help?

There is so much more to the life-long health of a woman than the routine checks done during an annual exam. The Doctors of The Woman's Clinic are interested in your total well being. We want what you want - for you to feel your best!

With that in mind, we are beginning a new focus at our clinic - Healthy Me At TWC.

We have added a registered dietician to our staff to manage our Weight Wellness Program. As part of this program we will be offering the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Program; we will also offer nutrition counseling to all of our new OB patients.

We are very excited to be able to offer this service to our patients. Weight Wellness means different things to different people:

  • Reaching a healthy goal weight through diet and exercise
  • Gaining the right amount of weight during a pregnancy
  • Maintaining a healthy weight throughout all the LifeStages of each woman

Meet the newest member of our TWC family - Karen Johnson, RD.

Not only is Karen ready to help you manage your weight, she is living proof that it is possible. Here is a picture of Karen before she started her journey:

A stay at home mom, who put everyone else's needs before her own, she was shocked to find herself overweight and unhealthy. Her doctor began to warn her of impending disease and she took his warnings seriously. Karen began to educate herself on nutrition and exercise and also put that knowledge to work. Karen lost well over 150 pounds!!

Then she took it to the next level - she went back to school and became a dietitian. We are inspired by her and we know you will be as well.

Make an appointment with Karen and take your next step!

Our patients have had so much success with the Ideal Protein Plan. We are very excited to be able to offer this service. Weight Wellness means different things to different people:

  • Reaching a healthy goal weight through diet and exercise
  • Gaining the right amount of weight during a pregnancy
  • Maintaining a healthy weight throughout all the LifeStages of each woman

If weight control is not an issue for you, we still continue to focus on the whole woman as a priority in our practice. We take care of our patients across all the LifeStages and your well-being is our focus. We will be there for you.
